so many things can be replaced with performance parts. If i knew that my car was headed in the driction it went. The i would of gotten a very cheap Z32 and gone to town on it, and saved loads in the end. The main thing is the health of the chassis. things like doors, hood, windows, hatche not aligning, rust are red flags. But if your gonna do lots of suspension, engine, paint and body work driveline, then it yea, go for it. i woulf focus on interior and chassie condition, But a healthy and happy TT conversion with the upgrades that make since to do while your doing it is gonna run around 8-10k alone. But today with the MSP manis 2.5 intake systems and fully built engine you can buy, there not much of a needed for front clips if your doing a mid to high performance TT conversion. i Beleive that with about 15-17k one could by a poor NA and convert it into a dream TTZ
